He was born in Anamur, İçel in 1976. He completed his primary and secondary education in Çanakkale 18 Mart Primary School and Merkez Middle School and high school at İzmir Maltepe Military High School. In 2000, he graduated from the Military Medical Faculty of Gülhane Military Medical Academy.
Between 2001 and 2003, he served as head of infirmary at Ağrı 1st mechanized infantry brigade. Between the years 2003-2008, he received training for an assistantship in the General Surgery Clinic of the Military Medicine Faculty of Gülhane Military Medical Academy.
Between 2008 and 2011, he worked as General Surgery Specialist at Malatya Military Hospital. Between the years 2011-2014, he received training as fellowship in the Gastroenterological Surgery of the Military Medicine Faculty of Gülhane Military Medical Academy.
Since 2014, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Gulhane Military Medical Academy, Military Medical Faculty, Department of General Surgery.
After his transfer to the Ministry of Health in 2016, he has been working as Assistant Professor in the General Surgery Department of Gülhane Training and Research Hospital.
He is interested in trauma and emergency surgery, surgical treatment of gastric, pancreatic and colorectal cancer, laparoscopic hernia surgery.
He is married, has a children and speaks English.
